The Medicine I Bring….

I’ve always wondered if the earth has been trying to teach us something. Not through words, but through seasons. Through forests. Through weathered barns that quietly stand the test of time. Through wildflowers that bloom without asking permission. Through the gentle reminder that nothing in nature ever rushes, and yet everything becomes exactly what it was meant to be.

Growing up on a farm in northern Minnesota, I spent much of my childhood wandering the woods, speaking to trees, befriending animals, and finding peace in the rhythm of the natural world. Though I was the youngest of five, I often felt more at home in the wild than I did anywhere else.

What I didn’t realize then was that nature was becoming my first teacher.

Long before I ever studied yoga, the nervous system, or the healing arts, I was learning that life moves in cycles. That growth often begins unseen. That nothing blooms before its time. And that even after the harshest winters, the earth always remembers how to come alive again. Like many, I spent years searching outside of myself..for achievement, certainty, belonging, and a sense of enoughness. Motherhood, careers, heartbreak, joy, loss, and grief all became part of that journey.

When my father passed away something within me cracked open. Grief became the beginning of my awakening. It stripped away the life I thought I was supposed to build and invited me into the life I was meant to live. That invitation eventually led me to Guatemala, where through yoga, stillness, and breath, I began remembering who I had always been beneath all the striving. Since then, life has continued to refine me.

Then the passing of my mother deepened that understanding in ways I never could have imagined. Returning to the family farm, watching the sunrises reminded me that healing doesn’t ask us to erase what we’ve lived through. It simply asks us to keep tending what still wants to grow.

Recently, one word has continued to find me:

Alchemy.

At first, I thought it was about transformation. Now I believe it’s about something even more sacred. It’s the quiet process of allowing life to shape us. Of letting grief deepen our compassion. Of allowing hardship to become wisdom. Of discovering that what once felt like our greatest wound can become the very place from which we serve. That understanding has become the heart of my work. I don’t believe people come to me because they need to be fixed. I believe they come because some part of them is ready to remember. To remember the wisdom already living within their body. To reconnect with the rhythms of nature. To simply be.

The Magic I Bring:

Every person who walks through my door carries a different story. Because of that, I don’t believe healing follows a formula. It is something we listen for. Something we tend. Something we remember. My work is deeply intuitive, weaving together years of study with the wisdom that can only come from lived experience. Whether through gentle touch, movement, sound, breath, or stillness, my intention is always the same: to help you reconnect with the wisdom that has been within you all along.

This medicine takes many forms.
